Dwarka City

Wednesday, September 5th, 2007

Only a few days ago, I saw a new side to Dwarka City, and this was sector 10 ans sector 11. There is a large in this area, and the market consists of many shops, ranging from clothes shops to sports shops to restaurants. What people don’t know is that there is more to Dwarka then it looks, it is just a matter or going around and exploring the place. Dwarka also has some wonderful parks, where you can walk or just relax.

Roads in Dwarka

Friday, August 31st, 2007

The best roads in Delhi are in Dwarka, which is in West Delhi. The roads in Dwarka, are very well built, and are very clean. Although the area can be quite busy at times the traffic there is bearable, and people know how to drive there and keep in their lanes, unlike most places where traffic is a nightmare. The shops and people in Dwarka are also very polite and mannered, which is why people prefer to go to Dwarka, for a day out or just to relax. With the large amount of flats in Dwarka, it is defiantly a place to recommend for living.

Dwarka real estate

Sunday, August 26th, 2007

You must have noticed that I write a lot about Dwarka these days and the reason is that I am in love with Dwarka for the wide roads and good cars people drive there. The shops are pretty good with a lot of multinational chains opening up shops there like pizza hut and domino’s and also Costa coffee is available there now. You name it and you will find it at Dwarka at one of the sectors.

Dwarka sports complex

Sunday, August 26th, 2007

There is this DDA sports complex in Dwarka which is a really good one considering I have not seen anything like this in India before. The sports complex is comparable to the ones you would see in developed countries like UK and USA but the problem is there are just a handful of these types in Delhi and we need a lot more so that every one has access to one of these.

Aggarwal sweets at Dwarka

Sunday, August 26th, 2007

The Aggarwal sweet shop at Sagarpur has opened up their branch at Dwarka as well now but to be honest I didn’t like the stuff in there may be because they have just set it up and will take some time to get everything in order. The restaurant has not opened up yet. They did open up the restaurant for a couple of day but then found out that their staff isn’t coping very well with the work load so they closed it for the time being and have put up a notice saying will open shortly.

Costa Coffee at Dwarka

Sunday, August 26th, 2007

I love Costa coffee since the time I said to live in UK where you will find a Costa shop in every mall. I recently found one here in Delhi at Dwarka and since then I go there twice a day and till can’t get enough. I just love the taste at Costa and most of the time I would have cappuccino or café latte and when it’s too hot I go for a frappe royale, which is full of crème and refreshes me on a hot day and keeps me going until the evening.

Sports Complex in Delhi

Friday, August 24th, 2007

The Sports Complex at Dwarka sector 10 and 11 is one of the best sports complexes I have seen yet in India. It is built of international standards, and gives its members all the facilities one could need, in order to stay fit. They have tennis courts, badminton courts, table tennis, vollyball, gym and swimming. The sports complex is open from 6am till 10pm at night. It is defiantly a place I would recommend.

Dwarka City in Delhi

Friday, August 24th, 2007

Dwarka City is a place which is one of the best places in Delhi, from where I used to go I thought it was that, but yesterday I went to sector 10 and 11 and saw it had such a big shopping place, full of all kinds of shops, and outlets. The shops are open from early morning till late at night, and you will find all kinds of shops there, from clothes, bookstores to eating-places.

Dwarka

Wednesday, August 22nd, 2007

Dwarka has developed into a nice little city big rather, I have seen this high rise township rise from scratch and now there is hardly any place left to build and roads get pretty busy in the evening especially near the shops and stuff. I am a regular at costa at Dwarka and love the coffe and love to sit there in my car smoking a ciggie.

Real estate prices hav gone a bit too far upnorth in this side of the city ad are out of reach of the comman nam or the end user you could say. I am looking to buy a flat if I find one with a massive balconey and good bathroom and kitchen coz most of them are like a torture cell as far as looks go and renovation wont do much good either.

All in all Dwarka is a good placve to live at.
