Files Gone Missing in UK
Friday, January 25th, 2008The British Prime Minister Gordon Brown has been embarrassed again when a Royal Navy officer’s laptop was stolen resulting loss of the personal details of up to 600,000 people. In the city of Birmingham where the laptop was stolen contained personal information and details about the people who joined the force, which included the Navy, Marines and Air Force. In November last year there were around 25 million child benefit claimants details were lost by the Revenue and Customs department in UK. Currently the theft is being investigated.
