Worship your Workplace

Friday, July 4th, 2008

If you think that your workplace is a place that you will not worship then change your job. The work and workplace will never benefit or bring success to you if you cannot worship them. Make sure that your work environment pushes you for excellence and nurtures your ability to achieve. Your workplace should provide you with opportunities of continuous learning. It should provide you opportunity for professional growth as well as personal growth. It should inculcate instincts of a leader who values his employees, customers and clients. Above all work satisfaction takes the top place. If one has enough job satisfaction then only one will be geared to work and worship work.

How a workplace should be

Our workplace should be a place that would give us the understanding as to why are we worshiping our work. Our work environment should not only push us for excellence but also nurture our ability to achieve. It should provide us with opportunities of continuous learning. Achievements and performance should be recognized and rewarded in a fair and transparent manner. Our work environment should not only provide opportunity for professional growth but personal growth as well. It should not only make us good team players but also should nurture leaders. The relationship between the employer and the employee, the customer and the employees should be valued. It should give us chance to embark on an outstanding career. It should help us gain experience that can be applied in all spheres of life.

Food in New Delhi

Wednesday, March 7th, 2007

New Delhi is famous for food since centuries and has developed a different cusine of its own and a street food culture which can be found on every street in Delhi. The New delhi government is planning to bring this age old tradition to a stand still and ban food to be cooked in road side stalls like in Mumbai where you can only sell pre cooked packed food on road side.

I wonder what is going to happen to the livelyhoods of more then a million people who are employed in this massive industry and what will happen to those people who buy food at throw away prices from these shops on a dialy basis.

Call centre jobs in India

Wednesday, January 31st, 2007

We have seen a massive surge in call centre jobs in India in the recent years and the pace of increase in jobs is on the rise with more and more companies kicking out thier staff in thier respective countries and hiring more and more people here in India.

Most people in western countries have an impression that they are loosing out a lot of jobs to India and it is harming thier economy as a whole but as I have completed my graduation in economics honours I know whats the catch here and I really pity those idiots who moan about jobs going to India as they need some more schooling in my opinion.I will not go into the details of why is it not bad for them as I want them to rot with this feeling for ever and let them blame some one else for thier own inability to rise in life.

Jobs In UK

Wednesday, January 17th, 2007

Finding a job in the UK can become very difficult. At times you may find a job within a week and sometimes it take up to 4 months. I have personally been through this phase where I was out of job for 8 months, it was so bad that that I didn’t even find any temporary jobs.

If you are out of job I would recommend that you apply for both temporary and permanent jobs through recruitment agencies, this is because temporary jobs come more often and sometimes companies require people immediately, so you will be doing a temp job while looking for a permanent one. Another tip is that you should register with as many recruitment agencies as possible and if you are able to travel for your job register with the local agencies there, you can register with as many recruitment agencies as there will be no harm in this and the outcome will be good.

Finding a job can also become difficult, as you may only want to do a job in a particular field, you can do this but if you have no luck within a month I would suggest that you consider other fields. The most common and easily found jobs are within customer service and sales which some have good salaries, so you will not be that disappointed.
