Covering about seven acres of land, a new Haat at Netaji Subhash Place in Pitampura is a mini Delhi Haat, similar in structure. It has 20 food stalls and about 108 art and craft stores. . The artisans have a dormitory with 96 beds to rest. The West Delhi residents are very much excited and fascinated to visit this Haat quite often. Some found the new haat much reasonable from the original one. Some feel the orginal Haat has more variety and good quality of products. Not only craft stalls, the food stalls also are said to be attracting a good number of food lovers. This haat has an amphitheatre with nice seating and lovely view around along with a conference hall and a dining restaurant to be booked on lease basis. The adult’s entry ticket is Rs.15 and Rs.5 for children.

The Girls in DU are not feeling very safe. Incidences of professors and co-male students molesting and disrespecting them have become very common. Thought security arrangements are made at DU to check this harassment but the girls think that it is not enough. They say that the harassment is increasing day by day which clearly means that there are no checks. The authorities have to take stronger action against it and if required should also place some private guards in the campus. Corruption and manipulation plays its games everywhere. But then how will these girls be secure? Who will protect them? Is it that these girls will have to take the system in their hands and look out for means and measure to protect them? Even in girl’s hostel girls are not too safe. Boys get in to the girl’s hostel even when the security guards are at duty. Though the cases of harassments have declined but it is not enough, we need more security and assurance of self respect.

Well it’s March 2008 and people in Delhi know that summer has arrived early and in the evenings the weather becomes very pleasant and warm. These days you would see many people walking in the evenings and taking a stroll to get some fresh air and do some exercise, after all it is the best weather to be in. with the high temperature summers coming up, we can not predict how hot the evenings will be, so take full advantages of this weather.

There is a lot of preparation and work being done in order to make sure that the foreign visitors love their stay in India and make sure that the country represents itself well. Well what we know is that because of the 2010 Common Wealth Games New Delhi will be one of the best cities in India and it will be much improved and a better place to live in.

Well its time for another weather update and the latest weather news for Delhi is that the temperature is four degree above normal, which means that the temperature will be rising by the day and summers are going to arrive early and in fact very soon. Since the past few days the weather has been quite hot and the time has come when the ceiling fans are to be turned on, but what is worrying some people is that what it will be like in the months of June and July.

With the weather getting much better the days have also gone bigger in India too. Not much can be said about other parts of India, but in New Delhi the weather is very pleasant and is calm. Until a few weeks ago it was absolutely freezing in Delhi and it used to get dark at around five in the evening, but now the sun shines out and it doesn’t get dark until around seven in the evening. But seeing that the summers have come quite early, looks like they will be even hotter than last year.

Well its 2008 and only two years left till 2010 Common Wealth Games to be held and Delhi is defiantly moving fast to become a city with all the best to provide to the international countries. The Metro will be completed by 2010, giving access to people to go all around Delhi, new hotels and malls are being made which are all of international standard. From the looks of it, seems like Delhi is becoming something very different, lets hope it improves for the best and proves to be the best city to live in.

Well Delhi has defiantly changed in weather terms, yes it is time for better and sunnier days in Delhi. For the past month or so it was absolutely freezing in New Delhi and temperatures reached the minus point, but since the past few days a sudden change has taken place. The pleasant weather is not just during the day but also in the early mornings and evening too. So now Delhi people can sit in their homes without having to wear layers of clothing and hats all the time.

Well February has already started and as far as the weather is concerned it has turned out to be quite pleasant. Unlike before when the weather used to be freezing cold and when hands and feet used to freeze, the atmosphere on a whole has turned out to be quite warm. It is quite good that its like this, as if she cold weather lasted long then living and working would become very difficult for many people. Lets hope the forthcoming summers are not as hot as last year now!!!

The past few days have been very cold and chilling in New Delhi, and working in water while doing dishes or even washing hands makes it even colder, but today after a long time the weather has gone just the slightest pleasant. Like other nights rather than being very cold and freezing the night was not so bad, there were not strong winds, not even cold. You could walk out of the home outside with just a jumper, which was quite nice.
