Call centre jobs in India

Wednesday, January 31st, 2007

We have seen a massive surge in call centre jobs in India in the recent years and the pace of increase in jobs is on the rise with more and more companies kicking out thier staff in thier respective countries and hiring more and more people here in India.

Most people in western countries have an impression that they are loosing out a lot of jobs to India and it is harming thier economy as a whole but as I have completed my graduation in economics honours I know whats the catch here and I really pity those idiots who moan about jobs going to India as they need some more schooling in my opinion.I will not go into the details of why is it not bad for them as I want them to rot with this feeling for ever and let them blame some one else for thier own inability to rise in life.

Internet penetration in New Delhi India

Wednesday, January 31st, 2007

Its been a few years since this internet revolution has been going on and its getting better day by day with youngsters being able to afford an internet connection these days thanks to the lower costs of broadband now.

Not every house in New delhi India has a computer, may be 10-20% of the houses have computers with an India internet connection where I live dont know about the rest of Delhi but by the looks of if this percentage is going to increase over the time as I have lads comming to me every other day asking about technical stuff and about which computer to buy and stuff like that and I see more and more people buying computers these days and actually using it as opposed to 10 years ago when it used to be a status symbol to have an internet connection.

Today fashion is so much similar wherever you, one place where you will find a difference is Belisi Fashions. Poverty In India

Monday, January 29th, 2007

Being poor and living in poverty doesn’t come naturally to a person, they do not choose to be poor by their own decision. It makes me sad seeing poor people and those poor people who are disabled and begging for food or money. I think the government should do something for these kinds of people, I am not talking about big houses but even small houses, which are secure enough to handle the rains and wind. And people who are disabled and have no homes who be kept in a place together so they can be looked at and at least get some food, even if its once a day. This will make a big difference to poverty in India, and I know its a lot to think about but when the government spends loads of money on useless things its then that I think that some of money could have been used for the poor and needy.

Winner of Big Brother UK

Monday, January 29th, 2007

The bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty has won the reality show celebrity Big Brother. It was announced yesterday that she is the winner as being the last housemate in the Big Brother house. Shilpa Shetty had gone through a lot in the house, from verbal abuse to racism and to a certain extent she deserved to win. But what makes you think is that when the racism was shown on TV, there were a lot of complaints and the issue even reached the Prime Minister, so Shilpa being a winner may be a scam by Big Brother as they did not want any issues raised if Shilpa did not win. I think this thought will be going through a lot of people and even Shilpa too, but she’s won and she’s got the money I don’t think she will care.

Gold

Monday, January 29th, 2007

Buying gold has been a common thing for centuries now, it has been known to be the best way to keep wealth and security for you and your family. When buying gold bars you have to keep a close eye on what the rates are, as prices always move and down and the best time to buy gold is when the prices are low and if ever needed to sell the best time to sell would be when the prices are high, so that you make profit. Monex Deposit Company (MDC) is a company where you can buy gold, silver and other valuable metals. MDC also give you information on the latest rates on gold so that when purchasing gold you know exactly what the rate and you don’t end up buying at the wrong time.

Living in India compared to living Abroad

Monday, January 29th, 2007

Living in India compared to living abroad is a big difference, there are plus and minus points and overall I would say living in India you can have a more luxurious life.

In England you have to do your own cooking, cleaning, ironing and lots of other jobs, where as in India you can pay to get these jobs done all the time and it isn’t even costly. Even if you don’t have someone to cook you can always find someone to clean the house, wash your clothes and even iron them, just by getting these small things done life becomes much easier and life feels luxurious.

Knowing about India

Monday, January 29th, 2007

Being an Indian should be something that you are proud of, but for some NRI’s they just don’t know what the word Indian is. I am a Sikh and was born and brought up in England and I know about my religion very well and know how to read and write Punjabi. I have also visited India about 14 times in my life I know about my relatives and who they are, as this is all due to my parents teaching me all this and taking me to India so that I know about my family and culture. From the same family I have cousins who only been to India once and they didn’t like it and I doubt it very much that they will ever go back to India, they don’t even know much about their religion or properly know how to speak Punjabi.
It’s not the child’s fault it’s the parents and their responsibility to teach their children.
